UI Recipe (“we”, “us”) operates uirecipe.dev — a gallery of UI templates with live previews, copy-ready prompts, and exportable React code. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

2. Information we collect

We collect information needed to run the product, authenticate users, process payments, and respond to support requests.

• Account details from Clerk (for example name, email address, and authentication identifiers when you sign in with email or Google).
• Billing and subscription data processed by Stripe (customer IDs, subscription status, purchase records). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Template entitlements (which premium templates you own or access via subscription).
• Messages you send through Support or Custom request forms (name, email, and message content).
• Basic technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and request metadata used for security and reliability.

3. How we use information

We use personal data to provide and improve UI Recipe, including:

• Creating and securing your account
• Unlocking free and premium templates you are entitled to use
• Processing subscriptions and one-time purchases
• Sending transactional email related to your account, billing, or support requests
• Preventing abuse, debugging issues, and maintaining the service

4. Service providers

We use trusted third parties to operate the product. They process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms:

• Clerk — authentication and user management
• Stripe — payments, subscriptions, and invoices
• Neon — application database hosting
• Vercel — website hosting and delivery
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Google — optional Sign in with Google (if you choose that method)

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies required for authentication sessions (Clerk) and core site functionality. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

6. Data retention

We retain account, entitlement, and billing-related records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. Support messages are retained long enough to handle your request.

7. Your choices

You may update account details through your signed-in profile where available, manage billing through the Stripe customer portal, or contact us to request account deletion or a copy of information we hold about you, subject to legal limits.

8. International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. By using UI Recipe, you understand that your information may be transferred to and stored in those locations.

9. Children’s privacy

UI Recipe is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
