Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using uirecipe.dev (“UI Recipe”, “the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

UI Recipe provides curated UI templates with live previews, prompts, and downloadable React/TSX bundles. Some templates are free. Premium templates require a one-time purchase or an active subscription.

Previews are generally available without purchase. Copying premium prompts and exporting premium code requires entitlement.

3. Accounts

You may need an account (via Clerk) to subscribe, buy templates, or manage billing. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping login credentials secure. Provide accurate information and notify us of unauthorized use.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in USD unless stated otherwise.

• One-time template purchases unlock that specific premium template’s prompt and export for your account.
• Subscriptions unlock the premium library for the billed period while active. Cancel anytime through the Stripe billing portal; access continues until the end of the current period.
• Files you already exported remain on your machine after cancel. Ongoing library access and new premium templates require an active subscription or individual purchases.

5. License to use templates

Subject to these Terms and your entitlement, we grant you a non-exclusive license to use free templates and unlocked premium templates in personal and commercial projects.

• You may adapt exported code for client work, products, and marketing sites.
• You may not resell, redistribute, or republish UI Recipe templates, prompts, or export bundles as a competing template library or stock product.
• You may not share your account credentials so others can bypass purchase or subscription requirements.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service. Prohibited activities include attempting to bypass paywalls, scraping the catalog at scale, attacking infrastructure, uploading malware, or using the Service for unlawful purposes.

7. Intellectual property

UI Recipe branding, site design, catalog curation, and original materials we publish remain our property (or our licensors’). Your license is to use unlocked template outputs as described above — not to claim ownership of the Service itself.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as Clerk, Stripe, Neon, Vercel, Resend, and Google (for optional sign-in). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their processing.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Templates are starting points for development; you are responsible for reviewing, testing, and adapting exported code for your stack, accessibility, security, and legal requirements.

We do not warrant uninterrupted availability or that every template will fit every project without changes.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UI Recipe and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

11. Refunds

If an export is broken, assets are missing, or access fails after a successful payment, contact Support and we will work to fix it. Refund requests for duplicate charges or clear technical failures are handled case by case.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or abuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel subscriptions through the billing portal.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
